Meet the Downhill Divas Team
Emma was born in the UK and spent the better part of her life with horses. After life took her to the Austrian Alps she quickly exchanged the four legged beast into a two wheeled one. She challenges herself to try new sports and beat the odds in competitions against younger athletes. After starting to ride enduro, she opened her own bike school, "Gorilla Bike Adventures”, and got a UCI Level 2 coaching and mechanic license as well as an Austrian mountain bike guide license. Her passion for sharing and teaching the sports that she so loves is endless. Her many years of experience with clients and guests of all ages really shows in just how effortlessly she can make an extreme sport feel safe. Emma is full of passion and makes sure that everyone feels confident and included - no one is left behind.
Vytene was born in Lithuania. She started biking at a young age and never really hopped off the saddle since. Eventually, she found her way into the world of mountain bike orienteering and earned a place on the national team. When winter arrived she simply traded two wheels for two skis becoming a ski instructor. Her love for the mountains is nothing short of absolute. Mountains are where she feels free; they are her playground. She loves teaching and sharing her experiences with others. Her wish is that every girl who comes to DH Divas will fall for mountain biking just as hard as she has.
Your Questions, Answered

If you are familiar with any kind of bike (mountain biking, road or gravel) you are good to go. The important thing is that you have a sense of adventure and a positive relationship with adrenaline in trying new things.
*Bonus points if you do any kind of other extreme sport!!!

The camps for now are from 18 years old only.

Yes, you do need an insurance that covers extreme sports or at least mountain biking for the duration of the camp.

A full suspension bike that is designed for trails, our recommendation that the front suspension fork would be around 140 mm. Disc brakes for the bike are mandatory. If you are bringing your own personal bike it needs to be properly maintained and in safe working order.
Mandatory protection - Full face helmet, back protector and knee pads.
We strongly recommend that you also have elbow pads and gloves for full safety.
